>> How can I see which product is handpainted ?
This is what most people want to know, since you're not going to buy a piece which turned out not to be handpainted, and is therefore not worth the money you paid for it. The easiest way is to try and put two of the same items together, and search for differences. Every single handpainted piece is different, so you will notice differences in brushstroke and contrast. Besides that, all handpainted pieces come with a certificate of authenticity, so if there's no certificate, there's something wrong.
>> Why is the delftware so expensive ?
Well, did you watch the demonstration about how the delftware is made ? I won't repeat it, but every single product has to be designed and painted entirely by hand, and will be baked two times 24 hours before finishing. In short, an enormous amount of work goes into the creation of one single piece. On top of that, there are increasingly few painters who still master the art, so it takes years to train new staff.
>> My grandmother gave me a piece, can you tell me how much it is worth ?
Well, we can try, but we are no antique dealers of auctioneers. Send us a set of good pictures of the item, including one of the bottom side with the signature, and we'll take a look at it, and try to identify your piece.
